"Outstanding in performance, this beautifully streamlined Gar Wood is the shortest boat in which a double cockpit, forward, is practical from a riding and handling standpoint.  Even with a full load of six, it will not “nose” on shut-off throttle.  Beam 6’6”, permitting unusually wide, comfortable seats.  Freeboard 2’6”.  New barrel bow. Banjo-type steering wheel.  Beautiful new instrument panel.  Full-ventilating, folding windshield of safety glass. Genuine leather upholstery with box spring seats and thick, soft, Kapok-filled cushions.  Red bottom with white boot top.  Five motor options, including Chrysler Ace, Crown and Gray Fireball."
